Jacob Gipson also won the 800 and was part of the Crusaders' relay that took the top spot in the 3,200 relay. Other members of that state qualifying team were Williams, Orduna and Wes Negley.

On the girls side, the Crusaders took first place behind top finishes by Heather Negley in the 100 and Sarah Plambeck in the 800 and 1,600. Plambeck and Negley were also part of the 1,600 relay that took first.
