Andy Sajevic of Fremont, who won the Class A boys state title last month, added his first Nebraska Junior title to his list of credits Friday, earning a 5 and 3 win against John Spellerberg at The Pines Country Club in Valley.

Spellerberg, also from Fremont, won the Class D title for Archbishop Bergan.

Sajevic won the first hole of the 36-hole final before dropping the next three to fall two down.

A birdie by Sajevic on No. 7 was the first of six he had on the final 12 holes of the first round to take four-hole lead at the break.

Spellerberg cut Sajevic's lead to two with a birdie on the 30th hole, but Sajevic won the next three holes to earn the title on the 33rd hole.
