Husker wrestlers shut out Wyoming

The 14th-ranked Nebraska wrestling team used two pins and two technical falls Friday to earn a 47-0 win against Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo.

The Huskers won the season-opening meet with its first shutout since a 42-0 victory over Wyoming in Lincoln on Dec. 18, 2004.

Freshman Andy Johnson opened with a pin against Wyoming’s Colt Reece at 184 pounds. After a UW forfeit at 197 pounds, senior Jon May continued his comeback from injury with a 7-3 decision over the Cowboy’s Jason Still.
