PARK CITY, Kan. - Taylor Stormberg got an open look at a game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds. But like most of Nebraska's three-point attempts, it didn't find its mark.

The miss from the left wing by Stormberg, formerly of Creighton Prep, allowed Kansas to leave Hartman Arena with a 69-66 win in the Kansas vs. Nebraska Border Battle.

With 13.2 seconds remaining, Jeff Reid converted two free throws to give Kansas its margin of victory.

Jarell Crayton led Nebraska with 20 points and 22 rebounds, earning MVP honors.

Despite being outrebounded by Nebraska 63-38, Kansas was able to keep Nebraska from taking the lead down the stretch with sound defense and poor Nebraska shooting. Nebraska was 5-of-22 on three-point shots.

Lincoln High graduate Peter Uhing scored nine points and Northeast graduate Dol Kutey added eight.
