The Stars will travel to Sioux City on Oct. 1 for a Thursday night matchup to open the season. The next night, the Stars will play at Fargo, coached by former Lincoln head coach Steve Johnson.
The USHL, the top junior league in the country for players 16 to 20 years old, will have 14 teams next season with the addition of the United States National Team Development Program and the Youngstown (Ohio) Phantoms.
The Stars will remain in the West Division with Omaha, Tri-City, Des Moines, Fargo, Sioux City and Sioux Falls. The East Division includes the two newest teams in addition to Cedar Rapids, Chicago, Green Bay, Indiana and Waterloo.
Lincoln will play 30 games at home and 30 on the road. Lincoln's home opener is Oct. 9 against Des Moines. On Oct. 10, Lincoln will travel to play Omaha in the Lancers' new home at the Civic Auditorium.
