Lincoln starter Zac Cline pitched a complete game, giving up just two earned runs on seven hits and striking out three. However, it wasn't enough as the Saltdogs lost 3-2 to Sioux City.

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Lincoln starter Zac Cline pitched a complete game, giving up just two earned runs on seven hits and striking out three.
WHAT WENT WRONG: Despite the solid effort from Cline, the Saltdogs couldn't muster enough offense.
Lincoln managed a mere five hits and blew a chance to tie the game in the eighth inning. The Saltdogs loaded the bases, but couldn't get a run home. In the sixth, the Saltdogs had runners on the corners with one out, but didn't convert.
DOG BYTES: No Saltdog had more than one hit as the team fell to 0-2 in the second half of the season.
