The Nebraska Office of Vocational Rehabilitation has announced that jobs for more than 300 individuals with disabilities will be created through new and expanded projects funded by the federal stimulus.
The Autism Center of Nebraska in Omaha will receive almost $195,000 to develop supported employment services to people with autism.
Employment Works Inc. in Norfolk and Career Solutions, Ollie Webb Center, in Omaha will receive $180,000 and $150,000, respectively, to provide employment services for people with acquired brain injury.
North Platte's Goodwill Industries of Greater Nebraska is getting $181,000 to assist individuals with cognitive impairments resulting from an acquired brain injury.
