OMAHA — An Omaha man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for having pornographic videos and photos of children on his home computer.
U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Bataillon on Friday also ordered 42-year-old Harold Stults to serve probation for the rest of his life.
Stults pleaded guilty in April to possession of child pornography. He had faced up to 20 years in prison.
A news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office says Stults had previously been convicted of attempted sexual assault of a child, and his computer transactions were being monitored. A search warrant executed in March 2007 on Stults’ home computer yielded 60 videos and 25 photos of child pornography.
