"Nebraska Is Home Fremont" will host a picnic, yard games and conversation at Midland Lutheran College on June 28.

The community-led "Nebraska Is Home Fremont" campaign was launched June 6 to celebrate shared community values and promote understanding of immigrant histories through activities, conversations, education and positive messages.

Participants are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets, table settings and their family's favorite food to the potluck set for 3 to 6 p.m. in the campus green space at Midland College.
