HASTINGS — Authorities say Kelly M. Gilbert of Hastings died after she was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle late Friday night.

HASTINGS - Authorities say Kelly M. Gilbert of Hastings died after she was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle late Friday night.
Adams County Sheriff Gregg Magee said Gilbert, 23, was driving an ATV on a private road southwest of Juniata when she hit a ditch and was thrown into trees.
Magee said Gilbert, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered head trauma.
The accident was reported about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Gilbert was flown to a Lincoln hospital, where she was pronounced dead early Saturday.
Authorities continue to investigate and believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
