Yet another White House hopeful plans on visiting Nebraska. On the heels of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s visit to Omaha on Sunday, presidential candidate Ralph Nader will come to the city.
A campaign spokesman says Nader will speak Friday evening at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha.
Last month, Secretary of State John Gale said Nader’s campaign turned in enough petition signatures to put Nader on the Nebraska ballot. Nader is on the ballot in 45 states and the District of Columbia.
The consumer advocate is running as an independent.
He has run for president several times, including in 2004.
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama spoke in Omaha in February.
