Police say the first shooting happened around 10 p.m. Thursday. Two men reported they were walking in northeast Omaha to visit friends when they heard gunfire and began running. One of the men was hit, as was a resident in the area. Neither are believed to have life-threatening injuries.
Around 3:20 a.m. Friday, police say shots were fired during an argument outside a southeast Omaha apartment complex. Two people were hit by gunfire in that incident, and both are expected to recover.
