
A Murray woman and a Missouri man suffered serious injuries Monday in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 75 and Nebraska 1 in Cass County.

A Murray woman and a Missouri man suffered serious injuries Monday in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 75 and Nebraska 1 in Cass County.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, around 5 p.m. a white 1994 Chevrolet coupe eastbound on Nebraska 1 was struck by a 1993 GMC pickup that was southbound on Nebraska 75.
The driver of the coupe, 26-year-old Carlee M. McCollum, had to be extracted from her car with the Jaws of Life. She was flown by Life Net medical helicopter to Creighton University Medical Center.
The pickup’s driver, 59-year-old Vernon Tobey of Agency, Mo., was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with serious injuries.
McCollum and Tobey both were listed in fair condition Wednesday morning.
