BRULE - Western Nebraska authorities are trying to determine what killed a 2-year-old girl found dead this week in her home.

Keith County Attorney Blake Edwards says Morgan Dehning died Wednesday at her home in Brule, about 12 miles west of Ogallala.

An autopsy has been conducted, although Edwards said it didn't turn up an official cause of death. It also showed no immediate signs of abuse or other suspicious activity. He says toxicology tests will be conducted as a precaution.
