OMAHA Autopsies and investigations helped police determine that no crime was involved in the deaths of two people whose bodies were found several miles apart on Wednesday, the Omaha Police Department said Thursday.
Officers found the body of a 47-year-old man on an access road in north Omaha shortly before 11 a.m. The preliminary results of an autopsy showed that he died of an illness, a police news release said.
Minutes later on Wednesday, officers responding to a call found the body of a 35-year-old woman in a southwest Omaha apartment. Her death has been ruled a suicide, the department release said.
