OMAHA — Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is opening a third campaign office in Omaha this weekend.

The Obama campaign says the competitiveness of the race with Republican John McCain in Nebraska’s 2nd congressional district prompted the decision to add another office.

Nebraska is one of just two states that can split its electoral votes, so if Obama won in the 2nd District, he would get one electoral vote.

The new office is in west Omaha office and will open Sunday. Obama already has campaign offices in midtown and north Omaha.
