Someone made off with a 53-foot-long refrigerated semitrailer full of beer over the weekend.
Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood said the blue and white Shaffer Trucking trailer disappeared from Crete Carrier Corp. at 400 N.W. 56th St. between 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m Sunday. The trailer was parked on the west side of the lot at Crete Carrier.
Flood said the trailer was filled with 23 kegs and 244 cases of Anheuser Busch beer. The kegs are worth $1,380 and the cases $2,440, she said. The trailer is worth $32,000.
Police had no suspects on Tuesday.
