A Lincoln man was arrested on his 21st birthday for allegedly trespassing, disturbing the peace and running from police — in his birthday suit.
A couple in their 60s called police just before 3 a.m. Thursday when they were disturbed by a man allegedly running through the street near their home on the 1700 block of Humphrey Avenue, yelling into his cell phone, said Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood.
The couple watched as the man allegedly took off all of his clothes and continued to yell into the phone, Flood said.
When police first arrived, the man allegedly ran through the bushes on the south side of Humphrey street just west of North 17th Street, Flood said.
Canine Officer Tyler Dean and his dog, Kony, were called to track the suspect, Flood said. They found the man crouched behind a house on the 1400 block of Blanca Drive, but he allegedly got up and ran.
The man eventually stopped running, and he was arrested at 3:19 a.m., Flood said.
Alexander Allemang was arrested and jailed on suspicion of indecent exposure, failure to comply, disturbing the peace and trespassing, Flood said.
Allemang’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit, Flood said.
