The case against a former manager who police said stole nearly $9,000 from Zesto Ice Cream has been dismissed to pre-trial diversion.
Prosecutors in February charged Elaine Iliopoulos, 49, of 5230 L St., with felony theft by unlawful taking.
Lincoln police arrested her on allegations that she had not been paying vendors and instead wrote unauthorized company checks to herself between May and September. Police said she had taken $8,960 from the business at 1100 South St.
