A U.S. district court judge last week sentenced a 55-year-old Lincoln man to more than 15 years in federal prison on a drug charge.

A U.S. district court judge last week sentenced a 55-year-old Lincoln man to more than 15 years in federal prison on a drug charge.
Howard K. William, also known as “Bobo” or “Bo,” was sentenced Jan. 9 to 15 years and 8 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute cocaine base, also known as crack cocaine, in Lincoln over about a one-year time period, and for three counts of distribution of crack cocaine.
William was arrested July 23 and indicted the next day, according to U.S. Attorney Joe Stecher. William was held responsible for the distribution of more than 1 ounce of crack cocaine during that time, Stecher said.
Stecher said that on three occasions in January 2007, William sold crack cocaine to an undercover Lincoln Police officer in amounts ranging from about ¾ of a gram to slightly more than 1 gram.
