More than 200 runners and 50 volunteers turned out in Lincoln on Sunday for a fundraiser to benefit the People's City Mission.
LINCOLN, Neb. - More than 200 runners and 50 volunteers turned out in Lincoln on Sunday for a fundraiser to benefit the People's City Mission.
The "Food Run" was a first for the local center that offers food, shelter and other emergency assistance to anyone who needs it.
The event held at Haymarket Park helped raise nearly $10,000 for the center.
Participants had the choice of running one, five or 10 miles.
