Six fishing poles and reels, $30.
Three 14-pound watermelons, $10.08.
Corona beer? No, not priceless, $13.98.
It might sound like an ad for a credit card company, but it's really all the stuff reported stolen to police on a summer day in Lincoln - July 1 - to be specific.
A search of police records turned up five burglaries, 22 larcenies and one auto theft, Chief Tom Casady said.
The snapshot of incident reports includes everything from a 4-by-3-foot Netherlands flag, Acutane acne medication and an X-Box 360 to a carton of menthol Newport cigarettes, Speedo swim goggles and size 7 underwear.
Then there was the cache of Nebraska Husker memorabilia: a pack of playing cards with football players' pictures, a National Championship medallion and white ashtray, used football ticket stubs and Cornhusker pins.
And cash: $1,129 of it, plus two purses and three wallets, debit and credit cards, driver's licenses, a Social Security card and a Waverly Vikings key chain with five keys.
Add in electronics - lots of them. A Philips clock radio with digital photo frame, Pro Studio Mach II speaker, Samsung 22-inch TV, DVD player and 150 DVDs.
Macs seem a popular target for thieves. On this particular day, a Mac iBook was taken, along with two iPod Nanos, one red, one black; and a black iPhone worth $499.
The cell phone was one of five stolen.
Three bikes were taken, too, and three circular hand saws, two pairs of sunglasses, one 2003 GMC Sierra.
A lawn mower; a bottle of Barton gin; a 12-inch vinyl record; an Abuterol inhaler; a half a tank of gas; a tool box, a Hoover Elite stand-up vacuum; and, last but not least, a USAC Midget Hall of Fame race plaque.
If you're curious, that all adds up to $23,402.85 worth of stuff.
All stolen on one day in Lincoln.
