Police are looking for a man who grabbed a woman as she was walking home Tuesday night.
Around 8 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was walking home from the university and talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone when her boyfriend heard her scream and hang up, said Officer Katie Flood. The man called police, who went to check on the woman.
The woman told police an unknown man approached her as she was heading to her apartment on the 2200 block of S Street, Flood said. The man reached around the woman’s back and grabbed her inappropriately over her clothing.
The woman screamed, and the man ran south from the building, Flood said. Another tenant also saw the assault.
The suspect is described as a skinny black man, about 6 feet 2 to 6 feet 3 inches, with short black hair, Flood said. He was wearing red basketball shorts and a black shirt.
