The Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition has hired Lynne Lange to be its executive director.
The Nebraska Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Coalition has hired Lynne Lange to be its executive director.
Lange previously served as the executive director of the Rape/Domestic Abuse Program in North Platte, working for the agency for more than 13 years. She was most recently employed as the marketing coordinator for NebraskaLand National Bank.
The coalition has been searching for a new director since April when Pam Perry resigned.
Lange has been involved in numerous community organizations over the past several years including the Child Abuse Prevention Council, Coordinated Response Team for Domestic Violence, Community Domestic Violence Intervention Program as well as serving on the Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Task Force. Lange will begin her new position on Dec. 1.
The coalition is a statewide advocacy organization committed to the prevention and elimination of sexual and domestic violence. The organization provides training and technical assistance to the 22 community-based domestic violence and sexual assault programs throughout the state, and works to ensure that public policy initiatives support victims while holding offenders accountable.
