Mitchell Agnew, a 16-year-old who moved from Lincoln with his family in 2007, died in a car crash Thursday afternoon in Fort Collins, Colo.
Police say he was a passenger in a car driven by his older brother, who turned in front of an oncoming SUV at an intersection.
Agnew died at the scene. His older brother, 17-year-old Michael Agnew, was treated for minor injuries, said Fort Collins Police Officer Drew Jurkofsky.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Fort Collins. No local memorial arrangements have been announced.
