A Lincoln man caught with 25 bags of methamphetamine in his boxers was sentenced to prison Thursday.

Lancaster County District Judge Robert Otte gave Anthony B. Richardson, 38, three to five years.

Police say on March 30 they stopped Richardson near 29th and Y streets at 2:30 a.m. because something hanging from his rear-view window was obstructing his view.

When they searched Richardson’s car, police found 6½ grams of marijuana and took him to jail.

Police said when he was being booked into jail they found 25 individually wrapped packages of meth pinned inside his boxer shorts.

In September, Richardson pleaded guilty to delivery/intent to deliver a controlled substance.
