Milling and asphalt overlay work is scheduled to begin July 14 on the Northwest 84th Street bridge, about a half-mile north of Emerald.
Work is anticipated to be completed in two to three days, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Through traffic for the bridge will be detoured two miles west on U.S. 6 to Northwest 112th Street, one mile north and then back east for two miles.
