COLUMBUS — The Nebraska Public Power District Board of Directors on Thursday re-elected Dennis Rasmussen of Lincoln as its chairman for 2009.
First elected to the board in 1996, Rasmussen served as second vice chairman in 1999, 2001-03, and 2005-07, and served as chairman in 2008.
Larry Linstrom of North Platte was re-elected first vice chairman, Ron Larsen of Kearney was elected second vice chairman, and Mary Harding of Lincoln was re-elected secretary.
