University of Nebraska-Lincoln law students on Sunday will offer help to eligible foreign nationals participating in the U.S. State Department’s upcoming diversity visa lottery.
The annual lottery offers a chance at permanent residency for foreign nationals whose home country is underrepresented in the U.S. population.
The College of Law’s Immigration Clinic for several years has hosted a free clinic to help people complete their diversity visa applications. This year’s clinic will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with law students helping determine eligibility and helping complete online applications.
For more information, call the Immigration Clinic at 402-472-3271.
