Police arrested an adult and a juvenile Sunday on suspicion of burglarizing the downtown Holiday Inn, 141 N. Ninth St.

Ryan D. Adams, 19, of Lincoln and a 15-year-old boy were arrested outside of the hotel in posession of items previously reported missing, said Lincoln Police Capt. David Beggs. The 15-year-old was taken to the Youth Detention Center, he said.

Police received reports that six  rooms had been broken into Saturday night to Sunday morning. Beggs said room keys were used to enter the rooms.

The keys, he said, may have been obtained in a larceny. Police believe four additional larcenies over the past month might be related.

Purses, wallets and iPods were among the items stolen, according to police reports. Police found some items in trash cans around the hotel, Beggs said.

The burglaries and larcenies remain under investigation.
