DECK THE HALLS. Danny DeVito wants to put up a Christmas display that can be seen from space. His neighbor, Matthew Broderick, isn’t wild about the idea in this holiday comedy that doesn’t have the courage to be mean and ends up bland. PG. (Grand, East Park) *

FLUSHED AWAY. This entertaining British computer-animated movie finds an upper-class mouse, voiced by Hugh Jackman, flushed into an underground city, where he has to depend on a lower-class rat, voiced by Kate Winslet, and her boat to get home. PG. (East Park, SouthPointe) ***

HAPPY FEET. Elijah Wood provides the voice of a tap-dancing penguin who is exiled from his colony and goes on a quest to find out what is happening to its food supply in this entertaining, action- and music-filled, computer-animated film. PG. (Grand, East Park, SouthPointe) ***½
