OMAHA — Lithia Ford in south Omaha has informed the city it will close on Dec. 16.
Federal law requires companies with more than 100 employees to provide 60 days notice of their intent to close.
No reason was given for the decision.
Lithia is apublicly traded chain of automotive dealerships throughout the West and Midwest. Its head office is in Medford, Ore.
