PAPILLION - Pentagon Federal Credit Union says it will be expanding operations in the Omaha area by adding another office and more employees.
Marketing vice president Ben Scandlen said Wednesday that the credit union is making a $4 million investment in the former ADT building in Papillion.
Ultimately, he says, the company expects to have 300 people there to handle mortgages and collections, including 100-150 moved in by mid-August.
Scandlen says some of them will be new hires and others will be transfers from the credit union's office in northwest Omaha. That office has 284 staffers.
Federally chartered Pentagon Federal Credit Union says it has more than 900,000 members worldwide and more than $13 billion in assets. Its headquarters is in Alexandria, Va.
