Lincolnites to be on 'Daily Show' this week
BY MICAH MERTES/Lincoln Journal Star
A segment on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” featuring a few Lincolnites will likely run this week, said reps at Comedy Central.
The segment in question, which we first reported on in late October, features a group of University of Nebraska-Lincoln professors and Meadowlark Coffee & Espresso co-owner Adam Hintz, 29. In the show’s typically snarky fashion, “Daily Show” correspondent Aasif Mandvi reportedly interviews Hintz about his "physical condition of liberalism,” Hintz said.
The segment was scheduled to run Monday night, said Jonathon Benson, a researcher for “The Daily Show,” but was cut before the show aired. Now, Benson said, the segment is set to air on Thursday’s show.
However, Hintz said a promo on Comedy Central previewed the segment for Tuesday night's show.
We’ll let you know as soon as we know for sure, but, in the meantime, it might not be a bad idea to watch this evening’s episode.
New episodes of “The Daily Show” air at 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central, Time Warner Cable channel 67.
