A 22-year-old man was arrested after a rollover crash Sunday night in Gage County.
Around 9 p.m. a passerby picked up a bloody, wet 22-year-old woman walking near the scene of the crash on Southwest 42nd Street between Birch and Buckeye roads, said Sheriff Millard “Gus” Gustafson.
The woman was taken to BryanLGH Medical Center West in Lincoln, where she was treated for serious injuries.
She had been riding in a white 2000 Ford pickup when the suspected driver, Chad Buhr, lost control. The pickup entered the east ditch, struck a tree, rolled, and landed on its top in a water-filled ditch.
Buhr was later found in Pickrell. He was arrested and jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence, no seat belt and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
