" Not sure basing the city cross country and tennis only how well someone did at State works. That is like basing football on one game. Better to look at the season results as a whole, but that would take a little research. "

" Way to go Trevor!! You are a rocket star. "

Spartan XC Parent wrote on December 2, 2008 8:27 pm:
" JB, basing the results off of State may not seem fair, but with excellent performances by different people all year, State is typically the most accurate.

Looking at the XC All-City Teams at least, almost everyone on there that did well at State had a good season too.

By the way, congrats to both Mikey and Britni! "

" why is it that cross country is always limited to only 7 places for recognition, yet football, softball and volleyball get more spots on the all-city teams than what those respective sports put on the field? why not a second team for cross country? many years there are more student-athletes out for cross country than there are for softball or volleyball. "

When I first played ball with Josh in 06 you could tell he was going to be something special.

Another Lincoln High Job Well Done! "

" isn't it time to refer to 'metro teams' and 'metro scores'? a lot of LJS customers don't live in the city and we're no longer without suburbs. "
