A drunk driving stop early Thursday led to the recovery of a handgun stolen out of Omaha.
An officer pulled over an alleged drunk driver at 10th and Q streets just before 1 a.m., said police Capt. Dennis Duckworth.
When the driver, 19-year-old Cody Larkins of Lincoln, stepped out of the car, the officer spotted the .45-caliber Glock handgun in the door pocket, Duckworth said.
Larkins was arrested and jailed on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm, drunk driving, minor in possession and possession of a controlled substance, Duckworth said.
