Pegler-Sysco name changed to Sysco Lincoln

Pegler-Sysco’s name has been changed to Sysco Lincoln, in a company-wide standardization of the name Sysco and the cities in which it operates. The local operation had been called Pegler-Sysco since Sysco acquired Pegler, a local food distribution company started in the the 19th century, in 1984.
Sysco sells and distributes food products to restaurants and institutions.
Sysco announced a 9 percent increase in the quarterly cash dividend to $0.24 per share from $0.22 per share.
