Traffic stop results in marijuana-related arrest

A Nebraska State Patrol trooper who stopped a driver for speeding on Interstate 80 near Lincoln discovered 125 ½ pounds of marijuana in the trunk of the car.
Millard Landis, 61, of Pittsburgh, Pa., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, according to an NSP news release.
Landis was stopped Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m. for speeding on I-80 near the downtown Lincoln exit. The trooper conducted a probable cause search of the 2003 Mercedes-Benz E320 and found the marijuana in the trunk of the car.
Landis was the only person in the car.
