Lincoln gunshot victim has finger amputated
Police say a 21-year-old Lincoln man has had part of his pinkie finger amputated after suffering a gunshot wound to his hand.
Police say the man walked into a Lincoln emergency room with a gunshot wound to his hand just after midnight Tuesday. Doctors had to amputate the pinkie on his left hand just above the knuckle because of the wound.
Police say the man is not cooperating with investigators and would not tell them if the wound was self-inflicted or if someone had shot him.
