It looks like Lincoln just missed the first frost of the season overnight Monday, with lows only reaching 42. Clouds came in overnight and kept temperatures from dropping further, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters predicted a 50 percent chance of showers for Tuesday, mainly after 1 p.m., with a high near 58.

Showers were expected Tuesday night, with a low around 43.

Wednesday night is expected to be cooler, with a low around 32.

Thursday’s forecast is mostly sunny, with a high near 59.
