Police: Lincoln man arrested in assault

A 25-year-old Lincoln man was arrested early Saturday after allegedly punching a man sending him to the hospital with a skull fracture.
Robert Kime, 1709 N. 29th St., had been at the Tack Room, 1445 Cornhusker Hwy., when he got in a fight with a 49-year-old man and punched him in the face, Sgt. Don Scheinost said.
He said the man fell and hit his head on the concrete floor. When police got there, the man was bleeding from his ear, Scheinost said.
At BryanLGH Medical Center West, doctors found he had intracranial hemmoraging and a skull fracture, which Scheinost described as potentially life-threatening.
He said police arrested Kime on suspicion of first-degree assault. Scheinost said his right arm needed to be re-set after the fight before police got there. He didn’t know if the victim had caused the broken arm.
