Six hurt in chain reaction accident
A chain reaction accident on 70th Street Saturday sent six people to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident, involving four vehicles, was reported at 10:25 a.m.
According to police, two cars going north were stopped on 70th Street, near Van Dorn, when a third car slowing behind them was rear ended, sending that car into the stopped vehicles.
Clarice Brown, 76, driving the fourth vehicle, a 2003 Buick Park Avenue, was cited for negligent driving.
Three of the cars were towed from the scene, said Lincoln Police Department Capt. Jim Davidsaver.
