A chain reaction accident on 70th Street Saturday sent six people to the hospital with minor injuries.

The accident, involving four vehicles, was reported at 10:25 a.m.

According to police, two cars going north were stopped  on 70th Street, near Van Dorn, when a third car slowing behind them was rear ended, sending that car into the stopped vehicles.

Clarice Brown, 76, driving the fourth vehicle, a 2003 Buick Park Avenue, was cited for negligent driving.

Three of the cars were towed from the scene, said Lincoln Police Department Capt. Jim Davidsaver.
