Toddler who fell from bleachers back home

A toddler who fell from the bleachers at Waverly High School Thursday night and was life-flighted to Omaha is home, said Sgt. Kris Hillabrand of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

The 18-month-old daughter of Joel and Christy Scott of Waverly tumbled off the bleachers and fell approximately eight feet into a narrow space between the bleachers and wall.

She suffered facial trauma and was flown to Creighton, where she was treated. The girl was released Friday, Hillabrand said.
