In the first round, Lincoln Southeast’s KK Houser was 4-for-4 with four runs scored in the Knights’ 13-5 win against Northeast. Matley Jones and Dana Norris were each 3-for-3. In a 3-1 loss to Papillion-LaVista South, the Titans’ Becky Dunn finished with eight strikeouts. Southeast will face Northeast at 3p.m.Friday for the right to advance to the championship against Papio South.

A-6:LincolnEast took a 3-0 lead into the fifth inning before giving up nine runs with two outs and losing 9-5 against Omaha Westside in the winner’s bracket game. Katelyn Peterson was 3-for-4 with a double and home run, while Alyse Menghini added a home run.  Against Omaha Benson, Menghini was 2-for-3 and Kelly Schulz added three RBIs in an 8-0 win.
