McDonald's: We're lovin' your fast drive-through

Several fast-food chains with Lincoln restaurants have made QSR Magazine’s annual listing of the best drive-throughs in America.

Chick-fil-A, a chicken restaurants with stores in Iowa, came in first with the best overall score. McDonald's has the second-highest score and is the highest-ranking chain with restaurants in Lincoln.

Wendy’s runs the fastest drive-through, according to the 2008 Quick-Service Drive-Thru Performance Study conducted by Insula Research.

Another chain in Lincoln, Culver’s, finished 15th in the overall rankings and came in last in speed of service, but it scored well in order accuracy and menuboard appearance.

The chains with Lincoln restaurants and how they ranked:

Taco Bell: No. 7

Arby’s: No. 12

KFC: No. 13

" I've seen window workers at Wendy's with lip and nose piercings. I still avoid Taco Bell due to Ecoli and hepatitis outbreaks. Not to mention their "special" food items set aside for police officers and customers with complaints. My recent favorite was at a McD's on 27th.The woman at the second window was wearing a burkah for a uniform. Got an incorrect order on that one.
The best option in any case is to use the drive. You can avoid seeing the filthy interiors of these places.
Pat's right, what can you expect from folks who are just doing their McJob's
