AREA NEWS: Lincoln Marathon winner 14th in Twin Cities race

Levi Ashley, this year's Lincoln Marathon winner, placed 14th overall in the Twin Cities Marathon in Minnesota on Sunday with a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes and 49 seconds.
Other Lincoln particpants were Tom Nichols who finished in 21st place and Brian Wandzilak, a Lincoln North Star track and cross country coach, placing in 72nd.
GOLF: Jim White, Director of Golf at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, finished tied for fourth at the Senior PGA Professional National Championship on Sunday in Indian Wells, Calif. White shot rounds of rounds of 69, 73, 71 and 70 to finish at 5-under par 283. Two rounds were played at Toscana Country Club and two were held at Andalusia Country Club.
