Police investigating deadly shooting in Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. — Police are investigating two deadly weekend shootings in north Omaha, the city’s third and fourth murders in a week and 29th and 30th of the year.
Police responding to a call at 3:05 p.m. Sunday found a man down in the parking lot of the JNJ Grocery. The victim, 29-year-old James Murry of Omaha, was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Saturday, police found the body of a 39-year-old man in alley. He had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified as George Marsh of Concord, N.H.
No arrests have been made in either murder.
