Motel manager arrested of violating sex-offender registry
By the Lincoln Journal Star
The manager of a Lincoln motel was arrested Friday, accused of violating the Sex Offenders Registry Act.
Nebraska State Patrol troopers took Mattielynn McGhee, 28, of 6742 Platte Ave., into custody at the Fairfield Inn, 4221 Industrial Ave., where she works as the manager.
According to the State Patrol, McGhee told investigators a convicted sex offender lived at the motel. Instead, the patrol said, 26-year-old Peter Northeimer was found to be living with McGhee at her home address.
Northeimer is a Level 3 sex offender and must keep his current address on an official registry, in accordance with state law.
Both McGhee and Northeimer were arrested and held in custody Friday for violation of the Act.
