Missing Omaha boy found at grandmother’s house
OMAHA — A missing Omaha boy has turned up safe at his grandmother’s house.
Police say the 4-year-old boy was reported missing by his baby sitter about 6 p.m. on Thursday. The child, Hazel Williams, apparently got out of the house about 45 minutes earlier.
Police searched the neighborhood and issued a “missing child calling tree.”
The boy was found blocks away at his grandmother’s house around 8 p.m.
Police are still trying to determine how the boy got to his grandmother’s house, but it appears a relative may have driven the child and failed to tell the baby sitter.
